KOBAYASHI MASATAKE Architect & Associate's is the architecual design and engineering office based on Nagoya-city more than 30 years.
We have been conscious about profession of architect, and have been worked with ethics.
Besides we have been discussed enough with clients and promised to have the realization and satisfaction keeping on the budget.
That is the reasen we have wined a reliance for long time.

We think the most important about architecture is the "story".
We want to make the architecture that the "story" is fermenting with the universal framework builded logically and the multiple sensibility. That means the architecture is eminently literary, so architect must be a great storyteller, we trust.
Only choosing and considering among examined and thought can survive a history and go through many hardships of life.

High grade insulated house. Outside of reinforced concrete is insulated perfectly and has the air-layer, so finished with wood and stainless steel.
This house is warmed up by the heat pannel buried in underground.
The site slopes and is coverd with green 60 percent.

This house was built with the theme "succeed memory".
Old material when demolished the old house grows into this new design.
You can get a emotional experience the shiny space of daylight and the fantastic space of night by comparition with the old kawara and the stone to the new saving light glass and the luminous diode.

The theme of this house is "relationship between to two-families".
Wooden timber is naked to not to disappear the power of structure.
It took the playing with water in summer at the open deck,and took the bosom of the family surrounding the fireplace in winter

The complex architecture of showroom, office and house. The fuctory is set up as an annex too.
The theme of this complex is keeping the openness and the privacy becouse there are many trafic densuty in front of this situation.

Traditional hotel with the spa (onsen) and the restaurant situated in the deep valley at Gifu prefecture.
Main theme of this plan is allocating each plants at the center axis.

This house is built in the residential street which entered 1 block from the subway station.
There are many apartments surround this site so have considered how to interrupt the looking. Many teak is used in the interia.

The wooden courthouse. A holly aged over 50 years is planted in center of the courtyard. We can see this tree from every rooms and feel the change of four seasons.
At night, we can hear the sound of a wave in this house.

This wooden house is built in the wood of oak tree.
The detail of windows is inquired carefully for get a sence of bilonging. The nature cut off by windows have gave us the impression which any pictures do not attain to.

Each rooms are filled a soft light which enters through the shoji.

This small house has a small inner garden for get a light in each rooms. Thi is a new modern 'Machiya'.
